Traditional Birdseye is a woven pique fabric, with a distinctive diamond pattern.It is commonly called "Diaper Cloth", and is still used in cloth diapers today because of its softness, absorbancy, and exceptional durability. Moms and Grandmas will tell you that birdseye diapers lasted through multiple children, and then ended up being cleaning cloths for a number of years as well. This towel actually softens, fluffs, and increases in absorbancy through use, which makes it perfect for lap cloths, burp cloths, dusting, general cleaning and polishing.
